Great news for you, UK! Rupert’s (Ron Weasley) recent TV project, Snatch (2017), which is based loosely on Guy Ritchie’s movie, will premiere in the UK next month.

BT customers will be the first to watch Rupert Grint’s acclaimed TV drama Snatch.

The 10-part original series will premiere on AMC in the UK, BT TV channel 332/381 HD, on October 31st at 10pm.

BT TV customers will be able to watch the full box set on demand after the premiere on the BT Player.

Snatch centers on a gang of up and coming hustlers who stumble upon a truck of gold bullion and are suddenly thrown into the high stakes world of organised crime. They must quickly learn to navigate the treacherous waters of London’s underworld as rogue cops, gypsy fighters, international mobsters and local villains descend.

Inspired by the hit Guy Ritchie movie, Rupert stars as intelligent but chaotic Charlie Cavendish. Described as a “punchy adventurous show” by Variety, the series was praised by People for retaining “the flashy grittiness of the 2000 crime caper but with a new generation of hucksters”. The AV Club said that the first series “will hit you like a ton of gold bricks”.

Happy 29th birthday to the one who portrayed our Ron Weasley for almost 10 years! Today, August 24, we wish the very talented actor Rupert Grint a wonderful birthday. We’d also like to use the opportunity to say thank you. Thanks for giving Ron Weasley a face for so many years. And such a brilliant one. We couldn’t think of another actor who could’ve played Ron better in the movies.

Truth be told, it’s hard to name one favorite Ron scene that Rupert played. There are so many good ones. He’s made me laugh so many times, sometimes only because of his facial expressions, for instance in the spider scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets or when he plays Ron’s nevosity due to his first Quidditch game. There are so many more scenes we might mention that we loved Ron – or let’s say Rupert as Ron – in.

So, again. Thank you for being such a wonderful Ron for 10 years! We wish you only the best of everything on that special day of yours. Make sure to celebrate it with your beloved ones.
