One of Daniel’s most recent movie projects, Jungle (2017) has revealed two new movie posters, the US and the UK version. Both have been added to our photo gallery. Check them out!

For those who haven’t heard about Jungle yet, it is adapted from Yossi Ghinsberg‘s memoir of the same name, following the Israeli backpacker in the 1980s as he ends up stranded in the Amazon jungle after an excursion goes terribly wrong, leaving them at the mercy of the wilderness. Daniel Radcliffe stars as Ghinsberg, the the first trailer shows him encountering all sorts of terrifying scenarios in the jungle. It looks like a harrowing story of survival to say the least.

Daniel is portraying the role of Yossi Ghinsberg, however, after premiering at the Melbourne International Film Festival in August, the reviews haven’t been all that complimentary.

The Hollywood Reporter says, “Fronted by a committed Daniel Radcliffe sporting a bushy beard and creditable Israeli accent, this is a survival thriller without much in the way of you-know-what, and seems destined to land in the Amazonian bog into which films that satisfy neither grindhouse nor art house are sucked.” Plus, The Guardian writes, “In McLean’s hands, Ghinsberg’s story feels less like nonfiction than Ozploitation-goes-tropical. His direction treads a timeworn, genrefied path, hemming and hawing through fake-out scares and jabbing crescendos.”

Jungle hits select theaters and VOD on October 20, 2017 (in the USA). Its UK release date is set for 2018.

Happy 29th birthday to the one who portrayed our Ron Weasley for almost 10 years! Today, August 24, we wish the very talented actor Rupert Grint a wonderful birthday. We’d also like to use the opportunity to say thank you. Thanks for giving Ron Weasley a face for so many years. And such a brilliant one. We couldn’t think of another actor who could’ve played Ron better in the movies.

Truth be told, it’s hard to name one favorite Ron scene that Rupert played. There are so many good ones. He’s made me laugh so many times, sometimes only because of his facial expressions, for instance in the spider scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets or when he plays Ron’s nevosity due to his first Quidditch game. There are so many more scenes we might mention that we loved Ron – or let’s say Rupert as Ron – in.

So, again. Thank you for being such a wonderful Ron for 10 years! We wish you only the best of everything on that special day of yours. Make sure to celebrate it with your beloved ones.

Happy birthday to Percy Weasley! Today, August 22, the third son of Molly and Arthur Weasley turns 41 years old.

Percy is probably the most ambitious of all the Weasley children, but – and that should be claimed with the utmost caution – the least liked. Many people disliked him from the first novel on. As a prefect at Hogwarts, Percy took the job very seriously and didn’t believe that his brothers Fred and George would get very far with their jokes and games. His great ambitions led to him working at the Ministry of Magic, even for the Minister of Magic himself. His rise caused a rift between him and his family as he denied that the Minister kept tabs of the Weasleys and Dumbledore. This loyalty to the Minister was a reason why fans of the franchise really began to dislike Percy. However, the fans’ attitude towards him may have changed after he comes to senses when the Ministry falls to the Death Eaters during the return of the Dark Lord.

For Percy’s complete biography and facs, make sure to visit the character’s page. In the movies Percy was portrayed by actor Chris Rankin.
