Harry Potter Stamps Released

Royal Mail has officially produced Harry Potter stamps.

So, if you’re owl is delayed or lazy just for once, you are now able to send your post and letters like muggles do, but with an additional small touch of magic. This means that they include hidden details that are only visible under ultraviolet light.

A new set of stamps have been produced by Royal Mail to celebrate the Harry Potter saga – with secret details that require a touch of wizardry to uncover. There are 15 stamps in total which feature characters including Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley and Neville Longbottom. Modes of transport from the films such as the Hogwarts Express, Hagrid’s enchanted motorbike, the flying Ford Anglia and the Knight Bus are also included.

Philip Parker of Royal Mail, said: ‘The Harry Potter movies continue to thrill and delight audiences of all ages.

“The goal with our stamps is to capture the excitement of the Wizarding World and the heroism of the students of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.”

The new stamps are available in post offices from October 16 and can be pre-purchased online on their online store.

We also added the first looks of the stamps as images to our photo gallery. Enjoy!

Kit Harington Always Wanted to Be Harry Potter

Game of Thrones’ Jon Snow, actor Kit Harington, admitted he always wanted to be in a Harry Potter movie and wanted to be Harry Potter.

Game of Thrones has wrapped filming for its final season, but you wouldn’t know it from the looks of Kit Harington, the man who plays Jon Snow.

While attending the Toronto International Film Festival to promote Xavier Dolan’s The Death and Life of John F. Donovan, Harington admitted that he’s under strict orders to maintain his “winter is coming” look.

Kit also talked a bit more about the film he’s in Toronto to promote, and he revealed a longtime desire to star in another famous fantasy franchise – the one we’re dedicating this website to.

“I always wanted to be in a Potter movie. I always wanted to be Harry Potter,” said Harrington, whose John F. Donovan character was a child star famous for a TV show about wizards.
